Web Design and Multimedia Examples Charmaine Anderson, owner of Real Art Studios, LLC has designed and developed a wide range of multimedia applications, Web sites and training materials for major companies such as Intel, Kaiser Permanente and recently Nike. Below are a few examples.
Mobile App Design Fish & Sea Creatures ABC's was designed for preschoolers under 5 and is available in Apple's App Store. The alphabet is taught in a rhyming story book format and features a marine theme featuring fish and sea creatures. The app includes narrated text, gentle music and hundreds of interactive objects. It also offers the ability to trace letters and numbers and an interactive coloring Book where the characters come to life. A Bed Time section is also included to help parents transition their child from play time to bed time. The app has 90 pages of engaging, interactive content that will delight young children and teach them basic colors. Download the app on the iTunes App store.		View App prototype (Flash).
Game Design This bowling game was one of several games designed for Intel Corporation's Global Sales & Marketing team and incorporated into a suite of courses developed as pre-training for their annual International Sales and Marketing Conference. After a short intro the game interface loads and invites the user to choose the right answer to bowl. If a right answer is chosen, the user gets a "Strike" and points earned are displayed. If user gets the wrong answer they receive a variety of gutterballs, or a "Spare". Sound effects and music are included. The course was rated one of the very top courses by the end users and received high praise by Intel management.		Game design for Intel
Multimedia Design for Intel This interactive was created for Intel Corporation. The goal of the product was to help the audience understand the synergy between the various business groups when embarking upon the Relocation process. The immersive interactive faciliates quick access to important information and communicates concisely what the user needs to know to complete the process. In addition, a large Web site was also created in tandem with this product that also includes numerous testimonial videos. The site received rave reviews from the customer and has been well received by the audience.
Multimedia Design for Intel This process steps interactive was created by Charmaine for Intel. The goal was to help employees and managers quickly learn their roles and responsibilities during the Relocation process and the steps they needed to take in order to successfully complete the process. The solution was to create an intuitive Flash interactive that segmented the content by audience, offered helpful visual clues to where they were in the process and provided the information in digestible chunks to the user which could be easily understand. The result is the product has been well received and has been emulated and used as an interactive template by other business groups.
Graphic Design In addition to multimedia authoring, we also offer graphic design and illustration services that can be leveraged for a variety of end products such as interpretive exhibits, kiosks or signage. In this concept piece, the birds were drawn with Adobe Illustrator. Our strong suit is illustrating nature and wildlife, and we are particularly fond of unusual and colorful species.		Enlarge artwork
Illustration This illustration is intended to promote awareness and appreciation of the rich diversity of wildlife found in the Costa Rica rainforest. It features a Keel-billed toucan and some other indigenous creatures. The design was created for use on variety of products such as children's t-shirts, mousepads, and other gift items and will also be used in an upcoming mobile app and book.		Enlarge artwork
Illustration This illustration was created for use on a variety of products such as children's t-shirts, mousepads, and other gift items. The idea was to show some of the unique plants and wildlife found on the Hawaiian Islands. A friendly gecko greets the viewer while a Hawaiian Nene cautiously peers out from behind the tall grass. Illustration This illustration was created for use on a variety of products such as children's t-shirts, mousepads, and other gift items. The state of Oregon has much to offer and this piece was intended to showcase some of the most beautiful places in Oregon and some of the wildlife that can be found here. The style is influenced by vintage travel posters. This was created in Illustrator and the artwork is available for licensing.		Enlarge artwork
Graphic Design - Wedding Invitations This is an example of a wedding invitations we designed for a couple that held their wedding in Hawaii. A red hibiscus was the desired motif which was printed on 80 # white cover stock. The invitation was backed by handmade mulberry paper with hand torn edges. A woven simonay envelope was used to enclose the invitation and RSVP card, and wrapped in an irredescent sheer green ribbon. The invitation was mailed out in an ivory envelope and sealed with a label with the hibiscus motif.
